A luxurious coastal estate in Malibu's Point Dume has been acquired for a cool $52 million. The 6,000-square-foot home, was previous owned by Stuart and Stephanie Liner and was purchased by U2m LLC, associated with Palo Alto tax consultant Tom van Loben Sels.
The property boasts stunning panoramic ocean views, a tennis court, a pool, and meticulous attention to detail in its recent remodel. The Liners originally purchased the home in 2020 for $22 million, which has now more than doubled in value.
6970 Wildlife Road is next to the iconic 6962 Wildlife Road, which Johnny Carson once owned. This adds to the property's allure and privacy, as most Point Dume estates sit on roughly an acre of land.
Recent off-market sales in Point Dume include 28804 Bison Court for $29 million and 7061 Birdview Avenue for $49 million in April 2022, highlighting the area's exclusivity and enduring appeal.
The median home sale price in Point Dume reached $4.9 million in October, according to Redfin, confirming the continued desirability of this sought-after neighborhood.
In short, a luxurious Point Dume estate has sold for a record-breaking price, adding to the area's reputation as one of Malibu's most exclusive and desirable neighborhoods.
